How Your Gift Is Used
When you select a program, project, or child on our donation form, we treat your choice as your designated preference and make every effort to honor it.
Impact Initiatives retains full discretion and control over all contributions it receives. If a project is fully funded, completed, or discontinued, or if circumstances in the field change so that funds cannot be used effectively for the purpose you selected, our Board of Directors may apply your gift to another program serving the same general charitable purpose. We will not apply your gift to any purpose outside our charitable mission.
All contributions are made to Impact Initiatives, Inc. and not to any individual. No gift is held in a separate account for any individual, and no gift is paid to or for the benefit of any particular person.
Up to 12% of each gift is applied to the cost of administering our programs and operating the organization. Payment processing fees charged by our payment provider are separate from this 12%. You may choose to cover those fees when you give; if you do not, they are deducted from your gift.
Impact Initiatives, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
