Arjun and Priya were devout followers of their ancestral faith—but everything changed when they encountered the love and power of Jesus.

Born and raised in a deeply traditional village, Arjun and Priya built their lives around rituals, idol worship, and religious customs. Every day began with offerings before idols and observance of numerous festivals. When they moved to a large South Asian city in search of a better life, they brought their faith with them—but Arjun also brought a chronic, debilitating headache that no doctor or temple could cure.

Hope Begins with the Children

In their new city, their children began attending one of our local children’s clubs. Their son, who had been stubborn and disruptive, began to change—becoming respectful, focused, and eager to learn. Their daughter, too, showed signs of transformation. Curious, Priya visited our church and felt an unexplainable peace that kept drawing her back.

From Ritual to Redemption

One day, Arjun attended church out of love for his wife. What happened next was a miracle—his chronic headache disappeared during the service. From that moment, his heart softened, and the seeds of faith were planted. Eventually, Arjun and Priya surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ and were baptized with their children.

Baptism day

Today, Priya joyfully serves in the church, and Arjun—once hopeless and bound by ritual—now walks in freedom, healing, and purpose.
