Impact Initiatives Celebrates Fundación Karis Selection as FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund Grantee
Recognition will help strengthen Liceo Nueva Vida’s Christ-centered education for vulnerable children in Colombia
MARGATE, Fla., May 11, 2026 — Impact Initiatives Inc. today celebrated the selection of its sister organization, Fundación Karis, as only one of 27 organizations around the world to be named as grantees by the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
Fundación Karis was recognized for its work through its flagship school in Colombia, Liceo Nueva Vida, which provides a holistic educational model for children and families affected by poverty, displacement, and social exclusion.
The FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, created through a partnership between FIFA and Global Citizen, aims to expand access to quality education and sport for children around the world. Global Citizen announced that the Fund’s first cohort includes 27 grassroots organizations across 10 countries, each working to improve access to learning and create safe, supportive spaces where children can thrive.
For Impact Initiatives and Fundación Karis, the recognition affirms years of faithful work at Liceo Nueva Vida, a Christ-centered school serving children and youth in Altos de Cazucá, Colombia, located just outside Bogotá.

The FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund was launched to raise USD 100 million by the end of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ to support access to quality education and sport for children worldwide. The Fund is managed by Global Citizen, with FIFA as anchor partner, and supports grassroots organizations working directly with children in underserved communities.
Impact Initiatives encourages supporters to celebrate this milestone while continuing to invest in the ongoing needs of Liceo Nueva Vida and the children served through its programs.
