In a world where countless souls remain unaware of the name of “Jesus,” it is both heartbreaking and humbling to witness the transformative power of sharing His good news. Impact Initiatives is reaching children and their families in South Asia with the love and power of Jesus and their lives are being transformed as a result!
The journey of these courageous souls is not an easy one. For many, embracing Christianity means living on the fringes of society, facing persecution and marginalization. In these lands, the cost of discipleship surpasses anything we may encounter in the comfort of the Western world.
Yet, despite the hardships, our unwavering mission reaches out to vulnerable communities, embracing those who have left behind their homes and families in search of a better life. In the midst of hazardous construction sites and laborious work, men strive to provide for their loved ones, while women tirelessly labor to sustain their families. The plague of alcoholism casts a dark shadow over these communities, fueling domestic violence and leaving children vulnerable to exploitation.
About Urban South Asia Initiative
Our ministry to children shines brightly as a testament to God’s immense grace. Within the walls of Impact Initiatives’ children’s home, little ones from the slums find solace from the harsh realities of their daily lives. Laughter fills the air as they form precious bonds and rediscover the joy of childhood. Our dedicated team of compassionate men and women nurture their spirits, imparting the truths of the Bible and teaching them the power of prayer. The impact is profound. Not only do these children embrace Jesus and proclaim their faith, but their transformed lives also inspire their parents to seek the truth. The ripple effect is undeniable as families, one by one, find their way to Pastor Sujit’s church, and accept Christ with open hearts.

The Pastor overseeing and leading our work (name intentionally omitted for his protection from persecution) in this South Asian city is a beacon of faith who ventures door to door, entering the makeshift shacks that many call home. Within these cramped spaces, he shares the boundless love of Jesus, defying social pressures that seek to silence the Gospel. And against all odds, hearts are stirred, and lives are forever changed.
