Margate, FL – November 22, 2023 – Impact Initiatives, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming communities and meeting the needs of at-risk individuals, is excited to announce the merger with Mission Fuel Inc. This new combined organization will result in a strengthening of their efforts in bringing hope, mercy, and love to vulnerable populations around the world.

Mission Fuel Inc, founded in 2017, has been instrumental in funding native missionaries in South Asia, supporting their mission to share the Gospel and uplift the lives of the region’s poorest and most vulnerable people. By merging with Impact Initiatives, Mission Fuel will further expand its impact and continue its mission under the leadership of Stephen (Steve) Cervera, the founder and Chairman of Mission Fuel, who will now serve as Chairman and President of Impact Initiatives.

With unanimous support from the Impact Initiatives board of directors, Roberto Chaves, the founder of Impact Initiatives, will assume the role of Vice-Chairman and Vice-President. Additionally, Jennifer D’Amato, Jordan Marsh, and Kelly Russo from the Mission Fuel board will join Impact Initiatives’ other board of members Oscar Reyes, Jim Frantz, and Luis Francisco Mendoza. This collaborative effort will leverage the expertise and resources of both organizations to create a more significant and lasting impact on the communities they serve.

“I love the work of Impact Initiatives in South America! I’m so excited to come alongside Roberto and the team to join the work the Holy Spirit is doing in Colombia and elsewhere,” expressed Steve during a recent meeting. Roberto Chaves, having witnessed the challenges faced by Christians in South Asia, emphasized his desire to see Impact Initiatives extend its reach in other regions, building upon the transformative work of Mission Fuel.

The new Impact Initiatives organization will be dedicated to addressing the emotional, physical, material, educational, and spiritual needs of individuals in at-risk and vulnerable communities. Their primary focus will be on transforming lives and providing holistic support to men, women, and children. Impact Initiatives holds a particular passion for the well-being and education of children, aiming to provide academic and Christian education while ministering to their emotional and physical needs. “We have seen such a tremendous response from children to the gospel in both South Asia and Colombia. When the parents of these children see how the Lord has transformed the lives of their children, they want to experience a relationship with Jesus Christ too,” shared Steve.
